This is subject to change. 🙂
Twice a month, The Noun Square does funding rounds. These close on the 15th and last day of each month. It will take the Knights a few days to get setup.
Squires and Knights alike fill in a form that discusses what they did during that month. It may take several days for everyone to get them turned in. Then, the Knights use coordinape to allocate “gives” to the other Knights and Squires. Each Knight has 100 gives, and they distribute them to other team members (Knights and Squires) based on how much they value their work.
The total amount of funding is then distributed based on the number of gives that each person receives. So, if you get 10% of the gives, you would receive 10% of the total amount available for the round.
Here is a link to the channel in discord where we did our forms for round 7, which is the most recent as of this writing.
This spreadsheet shows home much was disbursed.
Squires do not give, but many of you will be in other projects that use coordinape, or just want to check it out. I have setup a practice round. If you sent me your wallet address, you should be able to connect. If it doesn’t work, or you would like to be added, please tag me in #squires-general.
When you enter, you will see and “epoch” which is what they call a round. Click “Allocate to Teammates”. On the next page, I think (my view is a little different), you will see “We’re working on a new GIVE experience [Try it out]” Click that. Or, go to “Select Team” and choose who you will be giving to. Then, you can allocate your 100 gives, and can leave a note if you would like to. You can also view a map that shows who is giving to whom.
Let me know in the discord if you have any questions!
